EYE EXAMS FOR ALL AGES
Comprehensive Eye Exams
Our team want to know everything about your eye health, which is why we use state-of-art digital photography as part of our comprehensive eye exams. We want you to be at ease when you’re in our exam chair, so we’ll always take the time to walk you through the process as we thoroughly check your eyes. Then, we’ll explain exactly what we find and what the next steps are in your care!
Senior Eye Exams
Your body changes as you get older, and your eyes are no different! During our senior eye exams, we look for certain conditions and issues that are more common in older patients, such as cataracts and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). If we find any of these conditions, we’ll start you on a customized treatment plan to help you reach your vision potential.
Pediatric Eye Exams
Our pediatric eye exams are just like our comprehensive eye exams, except they’re specifically designed for younger eyes. During the exam, we’ll keep a lookout for conditions that are more common in children, and make sure their eyes are growing and developing properly. We want your kids to find a trip to the eye doctor as normal, and even fun, so we use kid-friendly language and methods to help them understand their care.
Myopia Management
Myopia, commonly known as nearsightedness, is a refractive error where distant objects appear blurry while close objects can be seen clearly. This condition is increasingly prevalent and can lead to significant visual impairment if not managed properly. Our myopia management program aims to slow the progression of myopia and reduce the risk of associated complications such as retinal detachment, glaucoma, and myopic maculopathy. Ask your kid's provider about myopia management program.
Contact Lens Exams
During our contact lens exams, we’ll use our state-of-the-art equipment to get a total picture of your eyes and their measurements. We’ll also scan for any front-of-eye conditions and learn about your lifestyle. Once we know everything about you and your eyes, we’ll be able to find the contact lenses that will give you the best vision possible.
Ask your provider about various contact lens modalities such as scleral contact lenses, RGPs and soft contact lenses.
Medical Eye Exams
Our skilled team has extensive experience in treating a wide range of eye conditions, including common issues like dry eye, and more serious concerns that can threaten your vision, such as glaucoma, macular degenration, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathies. Regardless of what your eyes may need, we have the talent and the technology to help you see clearly and comfortably!
Dry Eye Treatments
Dry eye syndrome occurs when the eyes do not produce enough tears or when the tears evaporate too quickly. This can lead to discomfort, visual disturbances, and an increased risk of eye infections. Common symptoms include dryness, burning, itching, redness, and a gritty sensation in the eyes.
Ask your provider about TearCare®, LidPro™, Nutritional Supplements, Punctal Plugs, Prescription Eye Drops and Artificial Tears and Lubricating Eye Drops.
What Is The TearCare® System?
The TearCare® System is intended for the application of localized heat therapy in adult patients with evaporative dry eye disease due to meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), when used in conjunction with Microblepharoexfoliation (manual expression) of the meibomian glands.
What Is Micoblephoexpholiation?
Microblepharoexfoliation is a deep cleaning procedure for treating blepharitis on the eyelids. Blepharitis is caused by a biofilm that builds up along the lid margins. The Microbleph procedure effectively removes debris and buildup, disrupting the biofilm across the eyelids. It is recommended as a biannual treatment, similar to a dental deep cleaning by a hygienist.
